NFJS conference

Just got back from the weekend conference. I attened some good sessions & some crappy sessions. I was very much impressed by Ruby & Groovy. I am going to get my feet wet with these 2 technologies for sure.

One of the interesting sessions was 3 technologies to watch.

1. Seaside

2. Erlang

3. metaprogramming frameworks

The mantra for all the speakers were Ruby, Agile, Spring…. You get the picture :-). One of the sessions that I really enjoyed was from Jason Hunter (Yes the guy who wrote Servlets & was part of the Tomcat Development). He had a good session on the opensource. I would love to attend this next year.
